A 484-hour, 12-week full certification program covering Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding plus oxyfuel, plasma and air-carbon-arc cutting. Training is approximately 85 percent hands-on in welding labs and 15 percent classroom instruction. Students also complete modules in welding drawings and symbols, inspection and testing, and equipment setup and repair. Graduates earn AWS Level I SENSE Welder certification and receive one welding certification test at Merrill's AWS Accredited Test Facility at no additional cost.
