Mid-America Technology Center offers a 960-hour Combination Welder program focused on welding and cutting for structural-steel fabrication. Students receive practical instruction in Stick, MIG, TIG and flux-cored welding plus oxyfuel, plasma-arc and air-carbon-arc cutting. Training also covers metal preparation, heat treating, grinding, blueprint and weld-symbol interpretation, fabrication, safety and a capstone internship. The program lists ODCTE Welding Level I and Certified Welder competency certifications and Oklahoma Department of Labor 3G and 6G welder credentials.
