Required courses cover oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, electric-arc welding, MIG and TIG on ferrous and nonferrous metals, advanced arc work on pipe, plasma and specialized arc-cutting techniques, welding inspection, blueprint interpretation, ornamental iron and sheet-metal fabrication.
