Claim This SchoolMott Community College offers occupational and transfer Welding Technology associate degrees plus a Welding Certificate through its Technology Division at the Flint Main Campus. The associate programs combine classroom and laboratory work in Stick, MIG, TIG and Flux-Core welding on plate and pipe, including steel, aluminum and stainless-steel applications. Students also study metal preparation and metallurgy. Both associate pathways explicitly prepare students for AWS Level I flat and Level II pipe welder qualification tests, and students who pass may earn AWS certification in addition to the degree.
