Mountwest Community & Technical College offers hands-on Welding Technology training through a 60-credit Associate of Applied Science, 30-credit Certificate of Applied Science and 10-credit skillset. Current program material documents MIG, TIG, Stick and flux-core welding, metal cutting, pipe welding, fabrication and robotic welding, with full- and part-time study available. The college also offers an 11-week workforce course at the Mason County Career Center in which students specialize in Stick or TIG welding.
