Nash Community College offers a Welding Technology Associate of Applied Science, a diploma and certificates in MIG, stick, TIG, fabrication, general welding and basic welding. Current curricula combine classroom instruction with extensive shop practice in MIG, TIG, stick and flux-core welding, plate and pipe work, fabrication, welding codes and certification practices. The AAS also offers an automated welding and cutting elective and prepares graduates for entry-level work in construction, manufacturing, metalworking and related fields.
