The Combination Welding diploma provides 864 hours of classroom and hands-on lab training for entry-level welding work. Students progress through Stick and TIG welding, wire-feed concepts and applications, aluminum TIG welding, plasma cutting and pipe welding. Current official pages also document MIG, Flux-Core and oxyfuel cutting, plus actual pipe, structural and fabrication tasks. The program prepares students for AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX qualification testing; NATS pays for the first AWS certification attempt, excluding pipe certifications.
