Northern Virginia Community College offers two hands-on welding Career Studies Certificates at the Manassas Campus. The 18-credit Welding Basic Techniques certificate develops foundational skills for entry-level welding work, while the 19-credit Advanced Welding certificate adds SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, advanced pipe welding and shop fabrication for higher-skill industrial, fabrication and structural work.
