This diploma integrates classroom instruction with lab assignments in introductory and advanced welding. Official curriculum covers Stick, MIG and TIG welding; oxyfuel and plasma cutting; brazing; CNC plasma-table operation; CNC press-brake operation; welding techniques; an application lab; and a 60-hour directed study. Students must complete 37 credits and 972 clock hours over two 16-week semesters and one five-week summer term, maintain at least a 70 percent grade in each welding course, and supply required personal protective equipment.
