A 27-credit hands-on certificate covering welding and thermal cutting on varied metals. Required training includes Stick, MIG, TIG, flux-cored and self-shielded flux-cored welding, plasma-arc and oxyfuel cutting, layout and fabrication, measurements, welding symbols, and print reading. Students practice welding in all positions and may attend morning, afternoon, or evening blocks with rolling start dates.
