This 48-week, 1,200-clock-hour diploma develops entry-level combination welders, fitters, fabricators, steel workers and maintenance welders. The shared welding curriculum covers introductory welding and cutting, Stick, MIG, TIG and Flux-Core welding, brazing, carbon-arc gouging, plate and open-root welding, architectural and manufacturing fabrication, and SMAW and GTAW pipe welding in 1G, 2G, 5G and 6G positions.
