This campus-based diploma combines technical classroom work with hands-on training, using an instructional balance the college describes as approximately 25 percent classroom and 75 percent lab. Students train in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding for employment in manufacturing and fabrication, oil rigs, refineries and power plants, pipelines, shipbuilding and repair.
