Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College offers a stackable welding pathway built around NCCER curriculum and national welding codes. Students can complete 16-credit Basic, 17-credit Intermediate and 8-credit Advanced Welding certificates, or a 65-credit Associate in Applied Science combining welding with industrial maintenance. Official curricula document oxyfuel cutting, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, pipe and fabrication work, aluminum welding and robotic welding. The campus provides dedicated welding classroom and laboratory space in the Anne S. Crook Transportation and Logistics Center.
