Palm Beach State College offers its in-person Welding Technology Career Certificate Program at the Lake Worth and Belle Glade campuses. The 1,050-clock-hour program uses hands-on labs and individual welding booths to teach MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core and pipe welding, plasma-arc torch cutting, fabrication techniques and work with carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Day and evening sequences are available, and the curriculum includes preparation for industry certification testing.
