This 1,050-clock-hour in-person career certificate prepares students for welding-industry work through hands-on lab training in individual booths. Students learn MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core and pipe welding, plasma-arc torch cutting and fabrication techniques while working with carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. The curriculum also covers metal identification, weld quality and certification-test preparation. The daytime sequence is 40 weeks and the evening sequence is 56 weeks.
