Passaic County Community College offers a hands-on Welding Certificate of Achievement at its trades facility on the Paterson Main Campus. Current official sources document SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW, oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting, CNC plasma programming and operation, fabrication, layouts and progressive fundamental through advanced welding instruction. PCCC is an American Welding Society Educational Institution Member, and the credit certificate may be incorporated into an A.A.S. in Technical Studies. The college also lists a separate self-paced online Welder Technician course covering welding processes, fabrication and thermal cutting.
