This four-quarter program combines classroom theory with hands-on lab instruction. Students practice oxyfuel welding and cutting; carbon-arc cutting and gouging; Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding; plasma-arc cutting and gouging; brazing; soldering; pipe welding; and fabrication. Coursework progresses through plate and pipe work and structural fabrication, then concludes with an off-campus externship or an on-campus capstone.
