This 26-week, 900-clock-hour program develops pipefitting, steam-fitting and sprinkler-fitting skills through classroom, shop and externship training. Students study pipe tools and systems, valve installation, pipe fabrication, welding and installation, rigging, codes and system testing. The curriculum includes pipe-welding basics, MIG welding and oxyfuel cutting, advanced pipe welding, and Stick and TIG welding on pipe, followed by a 200-hour externship.
