Pima Community College offers a stackable welding pathway at its Downtown Campus: a one-semester Basic Welding certificate, a one-year Welding, Fabrication certificate, and a two-year Welding Associate of Applied Science. Training combines classroom and hands-on laboratory work in arc and wire-feed welding, oxyacetylene work, MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, structural and ornamental fabrication, oxy-fuel cutting, and robotic welding, with optional AWS D1.1 qualification testing documented in current program cost sheets.
