This 650-hour workforce program prepares students for entry-level industrial welding through classroom and shop training. The published curriculum covers oxyfuel and carbon-arc cutting and gouging, Stick, Flux-Core, MIG and TIG welding, structural fabrication, introductory pipe welding and Lincoln/FANUC robotic welding. Students also complete weld-print, safety, employability and job-search coursework and may attempt multiple AWS D1.1 and D1.6 certification tests based on progress and aptitude.
