Red Rocks Community College offers a Welding Associate of Applied Science degree and focused certificates in MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, pipe, and oxyfuel welding and cutting. Current curricula document oxyacetylene, plasma, air-carbon-arc and exothermic cutting; oxyfuel welding, brazing and soldering; and laboratory sequences in the major arc-welding processes. The AAS combines 48 welding credits with general education, uses a block schedule coordinated with adjacent Warren Tech, and may lead to an AWS entry-level welder certification.
