RIVEROAK Technical College offers two full-time postsecondary welding certificate programs at its Live Oak campus. The 1,050-hour Welding Technology program teaches Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding together with oxyacetylene welding and cutting. Graduates may continue into the 750-hour Welding Technology - Advanced program, which develops advanced Stick and TIG pipe-welding and fabrication skills. Current official materials list day and evening options for the foundational program, a daytime schedule for the advanced program, industry certification opportunities and hands-on preparation for welding careers in construction, manufacturing and related industries.
