Roanoke-Chowan Community College offers a 38-credit Welding Technology diploma and 14-credit certificates in Pipe and Plate welding at its Ahoskie campus. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with extensive laboratory practice in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding, plate and pipe work, fabrication, oxyfuel cutting and plasma cutting.
