The curriculum includes 80 lecture and 230 lab hours covering TIG and Stick welding equipment, electrodes, beads, fillet and groove welds, open-root work, 2G/5G/6G pipe positions, joint fit-up, oxyfuel cutting, plasma arc cutting, base-metal preparation, weld quality, and a 6G bend test. Graduates who meet attendance and academic requirements receive the academy's Certificate of Completion.
