Sampson Community College

A 65- to 66-credit associate degree combining classroom instruction and practical welding application. Required coursework covers Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, and TIG welding on plate and pipe, fabrication, oxyfuel and plasma cutting, and welding performance testing. The curriculum also includes welding science, print interpretation, metallurgy, inspection, destructive and nondestructive testing, and technical electives.
