Sandhills Community College provides workforce welding instruction through short basic workshops and progressive NCCER-aligned Level I and Level II training. Official materials document Stick, MIG, TIG, oxyfuel cutting, plasma cutting, air-carbon arc cutting and gouging, and broader thermal-cutting instruction. Most welding classes use the Palmer Trade Center on the Pinehurst campus, while a scheduled introductory welding course is offered at Hoke County High School in Raeford.
