Shelton State Community College offers three stackable Welding Technology awards at its Martin Campus: a 36-credit short-term certificate, a 53-credit certificate, and a 62-63 credit Associate in Applied Science. Official curricula document Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, TIG, pipe welding and fabrication, oxyfuel cutting, plasma cutting, and carbon-arc cutting. Full-time day students can complete the certificate or AAS sequence, while evening study is available for the part-time short-term certificate.
