Sheridan College offers a Welding Technology Certificate of Completion and an Associate of Applied Science at its Sheridan campus. Certificate students build hands-on skills in Stick, MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, oxyfuel welding, thermal cutting, and fabrication, while the AAS extends the certificate with pipe, manufacturing, and automated welding and cutting work plus print reading, welding symbols, testing, inspection, and CAD. The welding shop has 30 individual booths and specialized pipe, cutting, bend-testing, automated, and robotic equipment. The certificate is also offered as a one-year Friday-Saturday cohort.
