A secondary career and technical program in which students design, fabricate, and repair metal items while learning Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, and TIG welding. Current instruction also covers manual and mechanized oxyfuel cutting, manual plasma cutting, manual air-carbon-arc cutting, soldering, brazing, corrosion protection, and safe equipment operation. Students may pursue the Pennsylvania Skills Certificate through NOCTI and a JLG mobile elevating work-platform card, and cooperative education can add supervised industry experience.
