South Plains College provides hands-on Welding Technology education through an Associate of Applied Science and Basic and Advanced Processes certificates. Official curriculum and faculty materials document MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core, pipe and plate welding, oxyfuel work, fabrication, fitting, layout, metallurgy, and inspection/testing instruction.
