South Puget Sound Community College offers competency-based welding education combining classroom instruction with extensive hands-on training. Students can pursue a 96-credit Welding Technology AAS or certificates in basic welding, Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, and TIG. The curriculum includes thermal cutting and gouging, oxyacetylene welding, multiple arc-welding processes, fabrication, and certification practice. SPSCC is a WABO-certified testing facility, and WABO testing fees are included in tuition.
