South Seattle College's Welding Fabrication Technology pathway offers a certificate, an Associate in Applied Science, and an Associate in Applied Science-Transfer. Hands-on study covers Stick, MIG, Flux-Core, TIG, oxyacetylene and related joining processes, fabrication, and carbon-arc, plasma, and oxyfuel cutting. Students also study theory, prints, materials, layout, fitting, and material handling, and practice for Washington Association of Building Officials welder certification tests. The program is delivered in on-campus cohorts at South Seattle College.
