Southeast Community College provides welding education through a 13-credit certificate, 33-credit diploma, and 66-credit AAS. The current program emphasizes hands-on metal joining, metallurgy, fabrication, weld testing, multiple metals, pipe and structural applications, and blueprint-based project work; students spend about 80% of their program time in laboratories. The Lincoln Campus houses a purpose-built Welding Technology Center with 196 welding bays, while Beatrice offers the certificate only. The AAS includes preparation leading to the AWS All Position Welding Certification.
