Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College offers its full Welding Technology AAS at the Williamson Campus. The program prepares students for welding careers in manufacturing, commercial construction, mining, structural work, pipe welding, plant maintenance, and related industries. Official curriculum and program materials document Oxyacetylene, Stick, MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, cutting, and pipe-welding instruction, along with metal preparation, heat treatment, weld-symbol interpretation, and detailed drawings. The program is designed to support American Welding Society certification in its primary arc-welding processes.
