St. Louis Community College offers a 16-credit introductory Certificate of Specialization and a 31-credit Certificate of Proficiency in Welding Technology at its Florissant Valley campus. The hands-on sequence progresses from oxy-acetylene welding, cutting, brazing, soldering, and Stick welding to MIG, Flux-Core, TIG, and large-diameter welding in the longer credential.
