State Fair Community College offers a stackable welding pathway at its Sedalia campus: a 24-credit Structural Welding skills certificate, a 37-credit Pipe Welding professional certificate, a 47-credit Welding Technology professional certificate, and a 68-credit Manufacturing Technology AAS with a welding emphasis. Instruction combines classroom study and extensive lab practice in Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG welding; structural fabrication and pipe welding; oxyacetylene welding and cutting; and plasma cutting.
