This two-year Associate of Applied Science program combines extensive hands-on welding with technical and general education. Students train across Stick, MIG, Flux-Core and TIG processes, thermal cutting, manual and automated fabrication, CNC plasma cutting and robotic welding. State Tech states that graduates are prepared to test for AWS SENSE Level I Entry Welder and Level II Advanced Welder certifications. The program uses a 50-booth welding lab, industrial CNC plasma table and robotic welder.
