SUNY Delhi offers two-year Welding Technology degrees in Associate in Applied Science and Associate in Occupational Studies formats, including an AOS pipefitting concentration, plus a welding certificate available after the first year. Students train in shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, gas tungsten arc and flux-cored arc welding with industrial and ornamental fabrication. The pipefitting concentration adds pipe layout, threading and mechanical pipe-system study. Modern labs, field projects, multiple materials and on-campus New York State Department of Transportation certification testing support hands-on career preparation.
