Sussex Tech Adult Education provides welding training through a four-year Delaware registered apprenticeship related-instruction program and a shorter Learn to Weld course. The apprenticeship develops the skills needed to build and fabricate metal structures and documents structural qualification testing in Stick and Flux-Core welding. The 72-hour introductory course gives adults hands-on exposure to Stick, gas, MIG, and TIG welding. Training is based at Sussex Tech's Adult Education location in Georgetown.
