T&L Welding Academy is a Missouri-approved proprietary school in Raytown that offers short, hands-on welding programs for adults and high-school students. Its current catalog includes a 100-hour Fast Track program, a 200-hour Combination Welding program, a 12-hour Welding Fundamentals program, and a 50-hour TIG Basic Welding program. Depending on the program, training covers Stick, MIG, TIG, oxyfuel welding and cutting, plasma cutting, air-carbon-arc cutting and gouging, and fabrication. The Combination program also documents optional preparation for an AWS qualification examination.
