Tennessee College of Applied Technology Memphis offers Welding Technology through individualized classroom instruction and practical shop training. Students work with MIG, TIG and Stick welding, advanced TIG pipe welding, oxy-fuel cutting, joint layout and metal fabrication using mild carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. The 1,296-hour pathway includes stackable certificate milestones and a Combination Welder diploma, with full-time day sections at Main and Bartlett and a full-time night section at Main.
