This hands-on program develops industrial welding and metal-fabrication skills through classroom instruction and shop practice. Official current information documents MIG, TIG and Stick welding; oxy-fuel cutting; advanced TIG pipe welding; joint design, layout and basic fabrication; and work with mild carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Stackable outcomes include Shielded Metal Arc Welder, Gas Metal Arc Welder and Gas Tungsten Arc Welder certificates plus the Combination Welder diploma.
