This 1,296-hour program combines theory, fundamentals and extensive practical work in common welding and thermal-cutting processes. Official current information documents MIG, TIG and Stick welding, oxy-fuel welding and cutting, plasma arc cutting, resistance welding and advanced TIG pipe welding. The curriculum also covers welding symbols, testing and inspection. Stackable certificates lead to the Combination Welder diploma, and the program lists AWS D1.1, 3G, 4G, pipe, 5G and 6G certifications.
