This 1,296-hour program combines classroom instruction with practical exercises in an industrial shop setting. It develops combination-welder skills through in-depth Flux-Cored Arc, Gas Metal Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc and Shielded Metal Arc welding, normalized as Flux-Core, MIG, TIG and Stick. The curriculum also documents Gas Tungsten Arc pipe welding and pipe welding. Stackable exits include Gas Metal Arc Welder, Shielded Metal Arc Welder and Gas Tungsten Arc Welder certificates before the Combination Welder diploma.
