This 1,296-hour program teaches industry welding techniques through classroom instruction and hands-on practical work. Official current content documents Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Metal Arc and Gas Tungsten Arc welding, normalized as Stick, MIG and TIG, plus advanced TIG pipe welding. Students also practice flame cutting, grinding, metal preparation, joint design, layout and fabrication in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Stackable certificates lead to the Combination Welder diploma.
