This 1,296-hour program uses individualized, competency-based classroom instruction and hands-on practice with welding tools and equipment. Current curriculum information documents basic and advanced Shielded Metal Arc welding, basic and advanced Gas Metal Arc welding, and basic Gas Tungsten Arc welding followed by advanced Gas Tungsten Arc pipe welding. These are normalized as Stick, MIG, TIG and Pipe. Process-focused certificates are available before the Combination Welder diploma.
