A full-time, 1,296-hour, 12-month program meeting Monday-Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Classroom study and hands-on shop projects cover advanced Stick, MIG, TIG pipe welding, oxy-acetylene welding and cutting, metal properties, joint design, layout, and repair work on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. Stackable awards include 432-hour Gas Metal Arc Welder, 864-hour Shielded Metal Arc Welder, and 1,296-hour Gas Tungsten Arc Welder certificates leading to the 1,296-hour Combination Welder diploma.
