Texas Arc Welding Academy

This four-month, 240-hour hands-on program trains students to weld carbon pipe for fabrication shops and production environments. The course begins with TIG and then adds MIG root passes and Flux-Core hot, filler and cap passes. Students also practice pipe preparation and fit-up, beveling, joint setup, repair and rework, shop-level inspection and pipe rotation using an orbital rollout machine.
