Trinidad State College — Valley Campus

Trinidad State College offers Welding Technology at both its Trinidad and Valley campuses through a 62-credit Associate of Applied Science and a 38-credit certificate. The program combines classroom instruction with hands-on project-based learning for welding construction and fabrication. Current curriculum documents oxyacetylene joining, oxyfuel and plasma cutting, structural welding, MIG, TIG, Flux-Core and pipe welding. The certificate completes the two welding-intensive semesters and stacks into the degree, while the associate program adds general education and career-supporting coursework. Welding is taught by NCCER-certified instructors, and students may pursue nationally recognized NCCER credentials.
