Umpqua Community College offers three hands-on welding credentials at its Roseburg campus: a two-year Associate of Applied Science, a one-year certificate and an Aluminum Only pathway certificate. Official curricula cover Stick, MIG, Pulse MIG, Flux-Core, TIG, aluminum arc welding, pipe and structural applications, fabrication, oxyfuel welding and several thermal-cutting and gouging processes. Training combines lecture, lab demonstrations, positional welding, blueprint interpretation and production-oriented fabrication work.
